New England area singer/songwriter, David Karl Roberts, has crawled the highways and byways through coffeehouses, clubs and dive bars for the better part of 4 decades. A true Americana Troubadour creating a blend of whiskey soaked, folk, blues and Americana with a cocktail of soulful melodies, outlaw folk and swampy lounge blues. Songwriter and Multi-Instrumentalist, weaving stories and song of life on the road, loves lost, and tales of the American experience.

DKR has been a support act for internationally known artists such as Dave Bromberg, Hot Tuna, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Fairport Convention, Rick Danko, Dave Mason, Aquarium Rescue Unit, Joe Pug, Chris Pierce, Bob and Sarah Amos, Brett Hughes, Trout Fishing in America and also has organized and produced local songwriter showcases and songwriter rounds in Vermont and Maine such as Burlington’s 2024 Emerging Songwriter Contest and the Green Mountain Indie Folk Showcases.
